Notes on the subject of “Data protection”::

“old-school.dev” is a blog. If you look at the articles, your IP address will end up in the server log. This is deleted after seven days.

If you leave a comment under “Reactions”, exactly what you enter will be saved under the article and displayed for as long as the article exists. All information is optional.

If you send me an e-mail, the data collected will logically be stored in my e-mail account.

This blog does not use cookies.

Apart from the external elements mentioned in the next paragraph, all data is only stored on my own server.

External elements

Occasionally, external elements are embedded in the blog articles (e.g. tweets, YouTube videos, Openstreetmap maps). To access these, your IP address is transmitted to these providers and they may set cookies. This is how the internet works. This happens on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 of the GDPR, as the “legitimate interest” of a blog is to write beautiful articles in full multimedia splendor.
